2. Data we process

Depending on how you interact with SafeFuming, we may process:

• Name, phone, email, and preferred contact time.
• Sector, municipality, service address, and property type.
• Information about the pest, photos you choose to share, notes, diagnosis, treatment, and recommendations.
• Identification data needed to document the business relationship.
• Quotes, responses, contracted services, visits, maintenance plans, payments, and related communications.
• Technical and security logs needed to operate and protect the site and admin panel.

3. How we obtain and use data

We receive data directly from you, from someone you authorize, or during service delivery. We use it to:

• Assess needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate visits.

4. Providers and recipients

We limit access to authorized SafeFuming staff and providers that need to process information to deliver their services. These may include Vercel for hosting and storage, Neon for the database, and Antreva Tech for technical support. We may also share data with advisors, operational providers, or authorities when necessary for the service, to protect rights, or to comply with a legal obligation.

If you choose to continue a conversation via WhatsApp, information you send will also be processed by WhatsApp and Meta under their own policies. The site does not automatically send your full form data to WhatsApp: it opens a prepared message so you can decide whether to send it.

5. International processing

Some technology providers may process or store information outside the Dominican Republic. When this happens, we seek providers with reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures and limit information to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.

6. Retention

We retain requests during commercial follow-up and client, quote, service, and payment records while an active relationship exists and afterward for periods needed to meet contractual, accounting, tax, or legal responsibilities. Security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to protect the system. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized unless a legal obligation requires retention.

7. Security

We apply access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, and other technical and organizational measures intended to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No system is completely infallible, so we review and adjust these measures according to service risks.

8. Cookies

The public site currently does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Only the technical cookie safefumig_admin_session is used when an authorized user signs in to the admin panel. It is essential to maintain a secure session, is not used for advertising, and expires after 12 hours. For this reason we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we add optional cookies in the future, we will request consent before enabling them.

9. Your rights

You may request access to your data, learn how it is used and shared, correct or update it, object to certain processing, and request deletion when applicable. Some deletion requests may be limited by contractual or legal retention obligations.

10. Minors

Our services are not intended for minors to provide personal data on their own. If a request involves a minor, it must be submitted by a parent, guardian, or authorized representative.

We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. We will publish the current version on this page and indicate the last update date.
